Personal Testimony of Benjamin Garcia.

I began to speak in Oklahoma City Central Spanish Church in June of 2011. It was a hot summer and the church was struggling after a split and pastoral change six weeks before the meetings. There was a young Air Force employee who was the music director of the church that was assigned to take care of my needs.

As we talked together before and after my meetings, I learned some of his aspirations and his story. It turns out that he had been feeling the call to go to the ministry for some time and was even taking courses online. We also learned that God had led us together and that we even had a friend in common that he hadn't seen in over 10 years and I had just had a chance to get his contact information a few days prior. Finally, when he heard my testimony of how I started preparing for the ministry, it was a turning point in his life.

Many of things he was learning in the meetings in regards to the history of the church and about the Sabbath were just the things he needed at the time in his work place in order to help him not have to work on the Sabbath. After much providential leading, he got married and moved to Southwestern Adventist University to study full time.
