OK, so now you've signed up to do a ShareHim meeting in your church. "What about the children… who'll babysit them," you wonder to yourself. Well if you've ever thought about this, then you'll want to check out what a church-school teacher did in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Jamie Francisco didn't want to babysit; she wanted the children she taught at the local church school to be directly involved. Find out what this creative teacher did to involve her students. And then learn how it was the children who led the parents to the meetings. The Lord can use all kinds of innovative ways to claim the hearts of those He is seeking. Lay Evangelism Festival Comes to the Ozark's
Have you ever wanted to share your love for Christ and your knowledge about the Bible with others, but had no idea where to start? ShareHim has partnered with The Southwestern Union and is pleased to announce the 2011 Lay Evangelism Festival. This evangelism training event will be held April 7–9, on the campus of Ozark Adventist Academy in Gentry, Arkansas.
“This is a fabulous opportunity to be inspired and catch a vision of how to better share your faith,” says Duane McKey. “You’ll find that what once seemed impossible is actually quite easy with the proper tools and the help of the Holy Spirit!”
Registration is free, and meals can be purchased in advance for $6 each. Limited lodging is available on campus, as well as in local hotels.
