Speaker-Initiated Reaping Event

Speaker-Initiated Reaping Events is a type of campaign people can apply for at any time after they are trained and approved as speakers within their conference. Basically the only way this differs from a normal homeland campaign is that the speaker plans and holds a reaping event on his/her own initiative, that is, without first going through the pastor and Outreach Leadership Team. The pastor and/or conference will have a chance to review the details before approval is given.

People (only those who have been trained and approved) will have the option to apply for a Speaker-Initiated Reaping Event on their main menu when they log in. That will take them to a form where they confirm their personal information and fill out information about the campaign they want to hold, eg. meeting location and schedule, planned pre-campaign activities, as well as team members they have recruited to help them before/during the campaign.

When application is submitted a personal campaign team is created (like any other Outreach Leadership Team). This created team is used again next time the same person applies for a Speaker-Initiated Reaping Event, of course with the option to change who is is helping out with the meetings.

Once successfully submitted an e-mail will be sent to the pastor (or conference organizer if we don't know the pastor or have no e-mail for him/her) asking to approve the application or call up the applicant to talk over issues before approving/declining the event. When the pastor or conference organizer logs in they see all the details about any pending application. They have an option to approve or decline the application. If they approve the applicant is notified and material is issued and will usually be shipped the next day. If they for some reason decline the applicant is notified and the campaign date is removed.

If neither the pastor or conference organizer/sector leader approves or declines the application, it is automatically approved by the system after 15 days. Once a speaker-initiated campaign has been approved it is treated and displayed just like any other homeland campaign.
