Personal Testimony of Neil Miller.

I noticed an advertisement to participate in Global Evangelism on the back of a Review and Herald magazine one Sabbath morning. I immediately knew that this was something that I had to do.

I am an engineer by profession and have a wife and five girls. I am an active member of my church yet I sensed that God was calling me to preach an evangelistic series.
The following Monday I signed up immediately not knowing how I'd be able to fit this into my busy schedule. I had the full backing of my family pastor and church. My pastor asked me to preach an evangelistic series in my local church before my trip to Jamaica. This was a three week effort--April 30th to May 14th. It was good preparation for Jamaica. This was a great sacrifice of time. I prepared from January through April, mornings and evenings. During the evangelistic series I spent my lunchtimes going over my nightly sermons. I would go straight to the church from work during the meetings; this would give me a couple of hours to setup and prepare.

A few days after the meetings finished I headed to Jamaica for my first Global Evangelism assignment. I chose Jamaica because that is where my parents were from, so, as well as visiting the country of my parents, I had the privilege of sharing the good news of salvation. It was a real blessing to me and God blessed our effort with ten baptisms.
