Hearts Changed for Christ!
May 24 2007 / ShareHim in Tempe #142by Joshua George
Campaign Site Narrative from Tempe (with SAU), Tempe. The speaker assigned to this site was Joshua George.
When I signed up for this trip back in September of 2006, there was no way of knowing how the Lord was going to bless. Each day has been an experience of a lifetime.
When I arrived here in Arizona, I thought that more evangelistic pre-work needed to be done before our arrival, but as the time passed and the meetings continued I started seeing God moving me closer to Him as well as the faithful flock that was attending my meetings. Night after night I started seeing people growing closer to Christ and this cheered my soul tremendously. I have had more food than I could eat every day thanks to our team leader Josie, and the cafeteria at Thunderbird Adventist Academy. We have had comfortable rent-a-cars with cool A.C., and plenty of gas money, as well as nice living accommodations with free washer and dryer amenities. God has surly provided for more than our needs which gives us ample time to focus on study and sermon preparation.
With the series ending this Sabbath eve (May 26th) I know God’s blessings aren’t over yet and it is my prayer that this experience will have a tremendous impact for the kingdom, as we say in Northern California, “Nothing matters, but the kingdom!”
Thanks again for investing in the next generation of soul winners by giving us this opportunity to grow, and learn. I see now that this is one of the largest benefits from this program.
Sincerely, Joshua L. George (Southern Adventist University)
