My experience in Mexico was absolutely fantastic. I could not have asked for a better opportunity to share God’s word. It was amazing to see how God worked in the lives of the people that I interacted with. I remember one of the first couple of nights that I was there, in the Jacarandas church in Mexico City, I had a lady come up to me and ask if I would pray with the people that she had brought. I said, “Sure, no problem,” and I went and prayed with them after the service. Well, it turned out that one of the ladies was having marital problems. Another one of the ladies said that her kids had strayed from the church, and the other lady had recently lost her husband. I had prayer for each one of them and continued to pray for them for the duration of my stay.

By the end of the series, the husband of one of the ladies was coming to the meetings. The other lady’s kids were also attending, and she, the mother, made the decision to be baptized. Her kids were even bringing their friends. It was amazing to see the change in these people! It was very uplifting to see people come to these meeting being so broken and then leaving with a renewed spirit.
