The Devil Can't Stop Us with a Car

Personal Testimony of Ashley Stephens.

Heat wafted through the El Salvadorian air. Outside, my driver's car wouldn't start. He'd turn the key and nothing would happen at all. We did what any Christian should do at the first signs of problems...pray. Ten minutes passed by until two men who worked at the hotel pushed the car until the motor was roaring noisily. I hopped in the car and off we went to the campaign site. Minutes later, I was remembering that I had neglected to pray with my roommate, Pam, prior to leaving. Who should I see along the road just at that moment? Pam. My driver pulled over to check our car and also check on her overheated car. As a result I was able to pray with my roommate, and we were on our way. The devil was trying to stop us from exposing truth at the meetings that night, but God had the victory.
