God Knows Best

Personal Testimony of Joel Cerna.
I was beginning to feel a little disappointed when I was told that the church I was suppose to preach at was not expecting me due to a misunderstanding; but I knew God had a plan for me. I started preaching at another church and what a blessing that was!
Sunday night a young lady approached me and said to me “I was profoundly touched by the message today.” Before our discussion ended she told me that she came from Madrid, Spain and that she has everything she wants. “Even things that these people here can’t even imagine having! But I am not happy. I’m missing something.” I told her that God had brought me from Los Angeles to Santo Domingo and had brought her from Madrid Spain so that she may know the truth about Jesus Christ. That night she accepted Jesus as her Savior and we prayed together before she left.
A week later I made a call for baptism and she was the first one to raise her hand to give her life to God through baptism. Before leaving church on Sabbath morning one of the leaders from the church approached me and thanked me for all the blessings they had received. “Our church was dead” she said, “but God has really blessed us a lot now!” God knows best. He knew why He sent me to that particular church instead of the one I was originally assigned to. To Him be all the glory.
