Personal Testimony of William Davis.

The ShareHim series in Port Elizabeth, South Africa was a great success in many ways. Thousands heard the gospel preached and hundreds accepted Jesus as their personal savior for the first time while 375 were baptized and another 400 made decisions for baptism in the near future. But in one very special community something more happened. The St Albans correctional facility is a prison complex with low and high security prisons. The staff lives on campus in housing that surrounds the three prisons. Two local churches joined forces to plant a new congregation in St Albans through the ShareHim series. Nightly a bus brought people to the meetings from the surrounding area. Pathfinders paraded through the community generating interest in who these young people were and why they were there. More than 100 accepted Jesus as savior and 50 made decisions for baptism. A small band of new believers made the commitment to begin a new congregation with two elders who would be their leaders. God blessed the efforts of the people of Green Bushes and Western Suburbs churches in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
