I Stand Alone on The Word of God
January 9 2009 / ShareHim in Honduras, Dec. 5 - Dec. 20 '08 #346by Naomi Jackson
Personal Testimony of Naomi Jackson.
No matter how long and hard one prepares for a ShareHim campaign, there is no way to be completely prepared for what may come your way. I began preparing the sermons in Norway at the European Bible School, but nothing prepared me for the internal experience that I was to have. More than sharing with others the beauty of the Bible, ShareHim was a time for me to be convinced of the message I was presenting.
I believe in the doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist church because I am certain that they are founded on the Bible, and to me, I have found no other standard for truth besides the Bible. Praise God for the wonderful teachers at the European Bible School because it was their enthusiasm for the Word of God and how they taught what they had learned in their studies that watered the seeds in my heart! My love for the Word of God is blossoming, and I am more and more amazed at how God has worked through history.
Presenting the messages on the 2300 evenings and mornings and on why there are so many denominations in the world really solidified what I had been taught in Norway and made it even more personal for me. It became more real to me that God is begging us to search the Scriptures and live on the edge for Him and for His kingdom. He desires us to live life to the fullest by His power because there is a great work to do and God’s grace has given us more time to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have the privilege of sharing His love with the world!
