Blessings in Costa Rica
April 4 2009 / ShareHim in Costa Rica A, Feb. 27 - Mar. 14 '09 #356by Stephen Marshall
Personal Testimony of Stephen Marshall.
What a wonderful blessing my wife and I received as night after night we came together in the humblest of little churches in the midst of a family of believers in God! The warmth and the love of the people in the Cairo church near Siquirres, in the province of Limon, Costa Rica is something that we will never forget and will carry with us to eternity.
It was supposed to be the dry season in Costa Rica, but almost every night, as the meetings went on, the rain fell. But inside that little concrete block church, it was warm and dry and the fires of faith were burning. Sounds of joy and praise were heard as voices joined together in song, and "amens" and "praise the Lord" were constantly heard as the word of God was preached.
At the end of the series, the little church family of fifteen members was swelled by an additional seven new members entering the waters of baptism and claiming fellowship in Gods' last day church.
Of the seven campaigns being held there in the Siquirres area, seventy precious souls were baptized and approximately eighty more are to be baptized soon. The province of Limon rejoiced as well as all of heaven. It is with many thanks that I count the blessings of the ShareHim program. The fellowship and time spent with the other participants from all walks of life is also a wonderful joy and time of refreshing as we came together every morning in devotional praise and sharing.
Oh, that all the "saints" could experience the same joy and the glory and the power of God as He works in marvelous ways, His wonders to perform in the last days!
