Heinz Volk pleaded with the people to present themselves as a living sacrifice. |
While doing a home visit, Heinz met this couple whose house was blown down in the last hurricane. Now they share a one-room cabin with their son and daughter-in-law, yet are still able to sing praises to God. |
Once a tireless worker in the church, this man had to have his foot amputated because of diabetes. As the stump isn't healing, he is facing further surgery, but his faith in God remains strong. |
Twelve members were added to the Campbell's Castle church, while many more are still studying in preparation for baptism. |
Just as dawn comes and the sun's rays drive away darkness, in the same way God's Spirit works on the hearts of men, changing them to reflect His glorious character. |
In Due Time

Personal Testimony of Heinz A. Volk.
It was a slow start. Permission to operate a free clinic was held up by red tape while medical equipment was held up by customs. In addition, torrential rains and concern about an approaching hurricane kept people from attending the meetings.
As we entered the second week, speakers from other sites, who had experienced the same problems, began reporting responses to altar calls, and even baptisms. But though attendance at my site was improving, there was no visible response. I took courage in Paul’s words in Galatians 6:9—“Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
In the middle of the second week I saw my first baptism. Many others responded to the appeal to commit their lives to the Lord and follow Him in baptism. In total 12 people were baptized and about twice that number are studying in preparation for baptism.
Only eternity will reveal what the final results of the series will be.
