The rain came down and muddied up the streets and made driving difficult for people to come to the evening meetings at our village. People were afraid of getting wet and cold which would lead them to get sick. Night was its coldest and regaining warmth was a challenge without the proper warmth and hydrotherapy of soaking in a hot tub. With elements not in their favor, they didn't show up for the evening meeting.

After visiting our neighboring village in the pouring rain, the pastor's wife had me bathed with hot water warmed up in a pot. She dressed me in their traditional sari and fixed my hair with a middle part and pulled back the length of my hair and set it with freshly strung orange jasmine flowers. She sat me down in another villager's home to feed me dinner before the meeting starts.

I was informed that no one would come to the meetings with the rainy weather. I was disappointed that I could not preach the message from God.

Later that evening, I was informed that there were people came who wanted to speak with me. They came from a far away village. They were Sunday keepers and accepted the Sabbath Truth. They asked if they could have a Seventh-day Adventist Church built in their village and asked to visit the next day to see the site they wanted the church built.

It was such a joy to see the people growing in Christ's Spirit and Truth. They needed to leave early to avoid the downpour. So the pastor gave them some Mark Finley literature and sent them home. I was touched in my heart by their love for God's Word and Truth and how the came together as a people to demand that they have a change and worship in the Seventh-day Adventist faith in their village.

God was encouraging me that HE used me to bearing fruits even when no one came that one night. My heart goes out to the world. I want them to know this personal and loving almighty God we serve.

Romans 10:14-15(NIV)

14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
