Hello! My name is George Layne, I live in the Virgin Islands. I just returned from ShareHim meetings in the Philippines. We had an exciting time there and God blessed!
I was assigned a small site—Smallville. The attendance started small but kept growing until the end. Big things for God happened in Smallville!
At the end of the first week, I spoke on the subject of baptism, I made a call for baptism; there were several who were awaiting baptism by an ordained pastor who was on his way to baptize at the end of the service. Among those who responded was a former member by the name of Josephine Brillas. While waiting for the arrival of the pastor to baptize, Josephine recalled a dream that she had had a few days earlier. She saw the pastor who was to baptize her in the dream. Imagine her surprise and excitement to see that pastor walk into the sanctuary! She insisted on being baptized that night by that pastor, the one she had seen in her dream. That night there was not only singing in Smallville, but in heaven as one more made her way to Jesus!
