God Comes First

Personal Testimony of Jose Meneses.
My mission trip to Mexico was a great blessing. Without a doubt it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I was one of the lucky sixteen to preach the nineteen sermons for the Share Him campaign.
Every night, the sermon we had for that night, called for some kind of appeal. Whether it was calling for visitors to stand up, raise their hands, or calling them up front.
On one night, the appeal called for people to come up to the front. When I finished preaching, I called all the visitors up front so I could pray for them. When I finished praying, one of the visitors stayed back while the rest went back to their seats. This man came up to me and held out his hand and grabbed it firmly. He looked me in the eyes with tears coming down his face, and he said to me, “God bless you son.” When he said these words to me, the feeling I felt at that moment is something I have never felt before, and I know for a fact it was the Holy Spirit working that night.
The feeling I felt, the sudden rush of emotion, is something I can’t put into words. This was the best thing that has ever happened to me. After this mission trip I have put my priorities in order, and I know that God comes first before anything else. Also I have realized that this is something I would like to do again sometime in the future. I thank God for giving me that opportunity to come to Mount Pisgah Academy and for giving me the chance to go out and spread His message.
