Personal Testimony of Nicole Killian.

Two and a half weeks seemed like forever to me. I didn’t know how I was going to survive eating beans and rice everyday or not being able to flush the toilet paper down the toilet. But that two and a half weeks went by faster than I could ever have imagined.

Throughout the two weeks I heard story after story of life changing experiences. And if you asked me what mine was I couldn’t tell you. The whole thing was my life changing experience. With every smile, every hug, every thank you, my life was slowly changed. I’ve never met happier people in my whole life, and I don’t think I’ll soon meet others like them.

These people not only opened their homes, their arms, or their church, they opened their hearts. I thought maybe I would have an impact on these peoples’ lives, but God had another idea. I think I went to Mexico so my life could be changed. And it was, not a great huge change, but a slow change that will not soon leave me.
