The Shield of Faith

Personal Testimony of Tim Doyle.

My first ShareHim series is over. I haven't been this excited in a long time. The series was done in the Arkadelphia, Arkansas area, where a newly-formed Seventh-day Adventist Company meets. Very little advertising was done in this small town, which makes the response even more exciting.

So far, we have had three baptisms and one more person who requested baptism but was unable to be baptized due to illness. Eight more people are preparing for baptism.
The devil tried keeping me from preaching through the entire series. One week before the series began, my dad died. Then two weeks after it started, I was putting out a fire in a pasture, as I am a volunteer fireman, and the wind changed directions. I inhaled a lot smoke causing what the doctor believes to be asthma as a result. On several occasions my damaged lungs not only caused me to cough terribly, but it also caused my airways to be blocked which made breathing very difficult. Miraculously the Lord took the cough away enough so that I could preach!

Since the devil couldn't keep me from giving up, he then tried to get me into a car accident where someone ran a stop sign. Again the Lord saved me. As evangelists, we are on the front line of attack, but if we have on the full armor of God, we have a shield that nothing can break through.

I am open to receiving invitations to hold meetings.
