Awesome to See God at Work

Personal Testimony of Peter Theuri.
My experience was life changing. It was my first time preaching a ShareHim campaign, and I think I am hooked. We found a small church that is the warmest and kindest ever. The people received my team extra well and we have lifetime friends.
The services were exciting and the responses were great. It is quite awesome to see God working through the people as I preached each night. Most of all, God revealed Himself to me in so many ways and in so many topics, and I have decided to learn more of Him because the more of Him I know and have a relationship with, the easier it is to tell others about Him.
The devil did not want me to go and he created all kinds of barriers including travel delay tactics (no gas in car on day of departure, lost cell phone on day of departure, missed first flight in the process), a car accident the day before departure; lost baggage upon arrival in Colombia; and even staged a robbery at my team members home.
We were determined that Jesus would win over the devil once more and surely He did come out victorious. The baptism on the last Sabbath was a tear-jerking experience and I could hardly preach that morning. The excitement in church was too awesome. On one of the nights, a lady stopped on her way out of the church and said that I made her cry in my sermon. That is the effect the message has on people, and people are longing for more. God wants all of us to be saved, and I pray that I will be in the number.
