Translation Difficulties as well as Miracles

I signed up to go with the group from Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica on a Share Him trip, and we are now in Honduras. Before I came, I read on the Share Him website about a girl who went on a previous trip, and her group had difficulties with translators, and she had to preach her first few nights in Spanish, as she alone knew some of the language. I was then convinced to prepare both the Spanish and English versions of the sermons, and printed out both, preparing to use either paper or the Synchronizer, to preach in either Spanish or English. When I came, we were assigned to an area short of translators: Another group in Tegucigalpa many miles away has an excess of translators, but here in Catacamas there is a great shortage of translators, and some of the others in my group are having serious trouble in having translators who are stable/ regularly available and capable of translating well. I am the only one preaching without any translator, and am preaching in Spanish. God prepared me before I came, so I could preach in Spanish.

Tonight, as on other nights, I finished earlier than the others, as the translation makes them take more time. My ride is the same as Elcando Citeran’s, as the church (Bella Vista) where he preaches is on the way to mine (Colonia Agricola - I was switched from Enmanuel/La Trinidad, since a translator was available for there). My driver stopped at Bella Vista, as usual, and he and I stepped inside at the back. Elcando’s translator tonight fell ill just as his computer shut itself down (the laptop was not connected, and its battery died), and I was asked to fill in for her while he plugged it back in and restarted it. God was again right on time. We are only halfway through the first of two weeks, and have not yet had any baptisms, but already are seeing both Satan’s fighting and God’s miraculous intervention showing that Satan cannot win.
