ShareHim Series in Moose Lake, Minnesota

On November 4, 2011 the Christ Our Righteousness Church in Moose Lake, Minnesota began its third ShareHim series in a little more than a year. When asked about why we use the ShareHim program Pastor Dan Bates said, "The beauty of the ShareHim program is that it is so simple anyone can be an evangelist. Each time we have done the series, a church member sitting in the audience has thought, 'I can do that!' It has been exciting to see more and more church members get involved each time we have done a series. Our number of baptisms of visitors hasn't been high but the impact that it has had on our own members is amazing!"

During the most recent series there were seven different speakers. For most of the attendees the highlight for the series was on the third and final nights. On the third night, Madison Boeselager, (age 8) spoke to a filled room about what Jesus has done for us on the cross, and then on the final night Monica Gentry (age 15) reminded the listeners of the wonders of heaven. Afterwards, Jim Blais, head elder, said, "I am absolutely thrilled that the youth of the church are being involved in spreading the salvation message to our community." The church is already planning for the next series to take place in September of 2012.
