Its Not About Us; It's About Him!

Personal Testimony of Leandro Robinson.
I would have never imagined a year and a half ago that I would be experiencing God’s love and power like I have in this mission trip. It has being an honor to work with the Mission Team that we have in the PA Conference and see how God is using the Youth and Young Adults of our Conference. It is so humbling to see how they have taken the challenge to come out and preach to a country in which they don’t know the culture or the language and yet allowed God to use them in a mighty way.
This experience has been absolutely life changing for me. I remember when I went on my first mission trip to Africa and how it changed my live and know I can see the same thing happening in the lives of the Youth and Young Adults that are with us in this mission trip. I am really thankful that God has given me this opportunity to be able to be a tool that he can use to mentor our youth and reach the people here in Higuey. I have to confess that there have being a couple of thing that have being a bit discouraging, but that is when I have seen God’s hand move in ways that I cannot explain. He has showed me and the team that no matter what we do, it is not about us, but that it is and always will be about Him.
I am very thankful for everything that has happened. I can’t wait until next year to do this again and to see and experience how God is going to work in my live and in the lives of the youth and young adults of our conference that decide to take the challenge next year.
