Personal Testimony of Dale Murrell.

My wife, Gina, and I were recently privileged to participate in the Share Him campaigns in Tampico, Mexico. We were able to have our good friends Mike and Laurel Easton participating in the same area in another church in the area at the same time. I must say something about our home church in Mena, Arkansas. It is the most supportive church that I have ever attended. It provided over $7,000 US funds for our trip to Mexico. We actually used very little of it, except to help some poor people we found there. But, it was nice to know that we had their support.

It was a lot of work preparing for the meetings every night. And, it was really a lot of work preparing for the weekends when we preached Friday night, Sabbath morning and Saturday night. Share Him has made it fairly easy. There is plenty of material provided and all a person needs to do is to edit it out and put in your personal touch. I had given sermons many times before, but after doing it every night for over two weeks and twice each Sabbath, it was like it almost got easy. I really liked having a translator, because it gave me time to think of what needed to be said next. And, I really got into a rhythm with my translator. I now feel much more at ease in front of large groups.

But, the really great thing was to see someone give their heart to Jesus and know that for once, He was able to use me in some small way to bring someone to Him. I claim none of the credit, and deserve none. But what an incredible experience, to work with the Holy Spirit! I will tell you that it is a life-changing experience. I will never be the same. And, I do plan to do it again. I would like to go to a Spanish speaking country again. I learned a lot of Spanish while I was there and would like to learn more. In fact, I am continuing to study it and am having my devotions using a Spanish bilingual Bible.
