Miracles for Nanaimo

The effort at Nanaimo began with two miracles. My wife, decided to join me in a ShareHim series of meetings for the first time. She prepared herself by studying the materials on health. Then, two weeks before the meetings were to begin, she found herself bothered by back problems that she had thought were behind her. These problems increased as the day for leaving for the series site approached. They became severe enough that she asked for and received anointing and prayer. She did not want to give talks on health when she herself was not in good health. We did not see immediate results from the anointing but continued to make plans for the trip. On the second day after leaving home she was also coming down with a bad cold. At this point she began to employ methods for treating colds that she found on the materials prepared for the talks. On the first Friday night, she was well enough to give her presentation and by Sabbath morning, all of her health problems had disappeared.

The meetings then proceeded without further incident. The people at Nanaimo were very appreciative. The pastor was left with several prospective candidates for baptism and the newly baptized members were grateful for the review of our basic doctrines. We found ourselves invited to many homes for fellowship and a meal. Upon our return, we received an email that said, “I want to thank you for such a beautiful two weeks that you were here. I was just so blessed with your presentations. And so were the others that I have talked to in the past couple of days.”

On the last day we were given a large contribution for our next series of meetings. This series of meetings was a huge blessing to us and we look eagerly to our next assignment.
