Join ShareHim as we partner in evangelism with fellow Adventist brothers and sisters on the beautiful island of Mindanao in Ghana. There, YOU will have the privilege of being the guest speaker for a nine-day evangelistic campaign held by a local church.

Never preached before? No problem.

Many ShareHim speakers are first-timers. We’ll give you ready-to-preach sermons, and one of our experienced trip managers will be there to help from beginning to end. All that’s required is the power of the Holy Spirit and your willingness to share the good news.

SCHEDULE

Tue 6 Feb — Depart from Romania for Accra, Ghana

Wed 7 Feb — Travel to Berekum, Ghana by bus

Thur 8 Feb — Orientation in Berekum

Fri 9 Feb — Start of evangelistic meetings

10-16 Feb — Evangelistic meetings continue each day; Midweek local excursion

Sab 17 Feb — Close of evangelistic meetings

Sun 18 Feb — Local excursion; Dedication for service back in home mission fields

Mon 19 Feb — Return to Accra by bus; Return home

 

LOCATION

On this trip we will be preaching campaigns held by churches in and around the town of Berekum in the Mid-West Ghana Conference.

Each day we’ll meet as a group to pray and review the upcoming sermons. In the afternoon you’ll be taken to your meeting site and return after the meeting each night.

 

WHO IS INVITED

This trip is open to Seventh-day Adventist young adults in the Muntenia Conference aged 18-35.

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Round-trip airfare to Accra, Ghana

ShareHim will book your travel from an airport near you to Kotoka International Airport in Accra. You may depart earlier or return later if you wish, though your cost may be somewhat higher.

Hotel & meals

You’ll be staying in midscale lodging in Ghana. You’ll receive more detailed information as the trip nears.

Each day, we’ll provide vegetarian meals and drinking water. You’ll also be able to buy snacks locally and can bring food from home, such as dried fruit or trail mix.

Ground transport & excursions

From the time you land until you fly home, we will make all the arrangements for your ground transportation in Ghana.

Travel insurance

You’ll be covered for the duration of the trip by travel insurance purchased from Adventist Risk Management. For more info, please see the class 1A policy summary from ACE Limited, the insurance provider.

Top-notch trip management & materials

You’ll be in good hands with one of our veteran ShareHim trip managers, who will be there to help you from start to finish. Together, they’ve led hundreds of successful ShareHim trips.

We’ll also provide you with the latest ShareHim presentation software and customizable sermons in the appropriate language.

 

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

To present the ShareHim sermons, you’ll need to bring a laptop computer. PCs must be running Windows 7 or newer. Macs must be running Yosemite or newer.

Citizens of most countries will need a visa to enter Ghana. You must apply in advance and pay a fee of approximately $70.

Before traveling, you should discuss with a health professional the need for vaccinations and anti-malaria medicine. Be aware that proof of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required to enter Ghana. More Info

 

PARTICIPATION AMOUNT

The total cost for this ShareHim trip is approximately US$2,000. However, through the generous support of ShareHim donors, the Muntenia Conference, the Romanian Union, and the Inter-European Division, your portion will be only $699.
