Join ShareHim as we partner in evangelism with fellow Adventist brothers and sisters in the beautiful Peruvian highlands town of Huancayo. There, YOU will have the privilege of being the guest speaker for a nine-day evangelistic campaign held by a local church.

Never preached before? No problem.

Many ShareHim speakers are first-timers. We’ll give you ready-to-preach sermons, and our experienced staff will be there to help from beginning to end. All that’s required is the power of the Holy Spirit and your willingness to share the good news.

SCHEDULE

Wed Sep 14 — Bus from Lima to Huancayo through Andes mountains (approx. 8 hours)

Thur Sep 15 — Orientation in Huancayo

Fri Sep 16 — Start of evangelistic meetings in Huancayo

Sep 17-23 — Evangelistic meetings continue each day; Midweek local excursion

Sab Sep 24 — Close of evangelistic meetings & goodbyes

Sun Sep 25 — Bus from Huancayo back to Lima

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Hotel & meals

You’ll be staying at a midscale hotel in Huancayo. Rooming will be double occupancy, or you can request a single room for $250. You’ll receive more specific information about the hotel once your application has been approved.

Each day, we’ll provide vegetarian breakfasts, lunches, and drinking water. Supper will be on your own, and you’ll be able to buy food locally or bring snacks from home, such as dried fruit or trail mix.

Ground transport & a local excursion

From the time you land until you fly home, we will make all the arrangements for your ground transportation.

Midway through the week, we’ll take a half-day excursion to enjoy some of the local sights. You can also plan other travel on your own before or after the ShareHim trip.

Travel insurance

You’ll be covered for the duration of the trip by travel insurance purchased from Adventist Risk Management. See the class 1A policy summary.

Top-notch trip management & materials

You’ll be in good hands with one of our veteran ShareHim trip managers, who will be there to help you from start to finish. Together, they’ve led hundreds of successful ShareHim trips.

We’ll also provide you with the latest ShareHim sermons and software when your application is approved so you’ll have plenty of time to study and prepare.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Please book your flight to arrive in Lima (airport code: LIM) no later than 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14. There you will be met at the airport and travel to Huancayo by bus, enjoying a picturesque journey high in the Andes Mountains.

On Sunday, September 25, you’ll travel back to Lima by bus. You should book your return flight to depart from Lima no sooner than 9:00 p.m. on that day.

If you will be arriving a day earlier or returning a day later, we can also help arrange a hotel for you near the airport.
