Join ShareHim this October as we partner in evangelism with fellow Adventist brothers and sisters in central Cuba. There, YOU will have the privilege of being the guest speaker for a nine-day evangelistic campaign held by a local church.

SCHEDULE

Wed Oct 12 or Thur Oct 13 — Fly from Miami or Fort Lauderdale to Cuba (Date of flight and departure airport to be finalized by no later than Sept 1)

Thur Oct 13 — Orientation in Cuba

Fri Oct 14 — Start of evangelistic meetings

Oct 15-21 — Evangelistic meetings continue each day; Midweek local excursion

Sab Oct 22 — Close of evangelistic meetings & goodbyes

Sun Oct 23 — Free day in Cuba

Mon Oct 24 or Tue Oct 25 — Fly from Cuba back to Miami or Fort Lauderdale (Date of flight and return airport to be finalized by no later than Sept 1)

 

LOCATION

On this trip, we will be preaching campaigns held by churches in one or more cities in central Cuba. The specific campaign cities will depend on the total number of participants and will be finalized soon after the application deadline has passed on July 17.

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Airfare from Miami to Cuba, round-trip

We will book your flights from Miami to Cuba and back to Miami. You are responsible for your travel from your home to and from Miami.

Hotel & meals

You’ll be staying at a midscale hotel in Cuba. Rooming will be double occupancy, or you can request a single room for $240. You’ll receive more specific information about the hotel once your application has been approved and the campaign cities have been finalized.

Each day, we’ll provide vegetarian breakfasts, lunches, suppers, and drinking water. You can also bring snacks from home, such as dried fruit or trail mix.

Ground transport & a local excursion

From the time you land until you fly home, we will make all the arrangements for your ground transportation.

Midway through the week, we’ll take a half-day excursion to enjoy some of the local sights.

Cuban religious visa

We’ll work with our coordinators in Cuba to apply for a required religious visa from the Cuban government for each preaching participant.

Travel insurance

You’ll be covered for the duration of the trip by travel insurance purchased from Adventist Risk Management. See the class 1A policy summary and the Cuba FAQ from ACE Limited, the insurance provider.

Top-notch trip management & materials

You’ll be in good hands with one of our veteran ShareHim trip managers, who will be there to help you from start to finish. Together, they’ve led hundreds of successful ShareHim trips.

We’ll also provide you with the latest ShareHim sermons and software when your application is approved so you’ll have plenty of time to study and prepare.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Due to significant recent changes in airline and charter flight schedules, we are still finalizing the exact flight dates. We will fly from and return to either Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We expect the flight dates to be either Wednesday, October 12 with return on Monday, October 24, or Thursday, October 13 with return on Tuesday, October 25. We plan to finalize the flights no later than September 1.

Please arrange your own transportation so you are at the Miami International Airport (airport code: MIA) no later than 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13. There you will meet the rest of the group and fly together to Cuba.

On Tuesday, October 25, you’ll fly with the group from Cuba back to Miami. You should book your onward flight or transportation to depart from Miami no sooner than 2:00 p.m. on that day.

 

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Sunday, July 17 — Space is limited, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

 

PARTICIPATION AMOUNT

$1980, including round-trip flight from Miami to Cuba

For children up to age 13, about reduced amounts.

 

FUNDING DATES

With application: $200 — By July 17: $400 — By September 18: $1380
