Bring your young adults on a ShareHim trip.

The Goal

Develop in your young adults a passion for sharing the gospel and a closer relationship with you, their pastor, leading them to become a greater part of your ministry and leadership team back at home.

How It Works

A ShareHim trip is more like a visit with church family than a mission trip, as local members graciously invite us to join them in their ongoing evangelistic ministry.

Each pastor and young adult is assigned to a church and preaches a 10-part evangelistic series (with help from a local volunteer interpreter, if needed) using customizable ShareHim sermons, no preaching experience required.

On The Trip

Each trip will have 13 to 15 participants, with 3 or 4 pastors from different conferences each bringing a few young adults.

Your group and the others on the trip will stay at the same hotel and meet daily to pray, share reports, and practice your sermons under the leadership of an experienced ShareHim trip manager.

At the end of the trip, you’ll spend a day or two in recreation, sightseeing, and recommitment to sharing the gospel back at home.

Sat–Fri — Evangelistic meetings continue each night; Midweek local excursion

Sat — Close of evangelistic meetings and goodbyes

Sun & Mon — Sightseeing, rededication, and return home

Who You Can Bring

You can bring up to 4 people with you (or more, with ShareHim approval) from this list:

• Your spouse
• Young adults from your district, age 18-35 (or age 16-37 with approval from ShareHim and one of your conference officers), and their spouses (any age)
• Children, age 14-17, of yours or of a young adult in your group (age 0-13, while not encouraged, may be approved in rare cases)

You must bring at least 2 young adults (or just 1, with approval from a conference officer), including at least 1 who isn’t your child.

Note: All young adults MUST come with their pastor, and you CANNOT bring anyone not signed up with ShareHim.

Requirements for All Young Adults

• Live in your district
• If regularly attending a church, it must be YOUR church
• Baptized, or on a path toward baptism with no specific objection to it
• First time preaching on a ShareHim trip

Each person age 14 and up is required to preach at their own assigned site.

Exception: Your spouse, and spouses of participating young adults with children age 0-13, may instead present nightly health or children’s programming.

Cost

You can participate if you’re a local pastor from a participating conference and haven’t accepted a call to a new district.

You participate for free, at no cost to yourself or your church.

For each person you bring, the cost is $499 from the participant plus $499 from your church (reduced cost for age 0-1). You’ll pay when you sign up your group.

* Note: If you bring your spouse and 3 young adults age 18-37, your spouse also participates for free.

What’s NOT Included

• Travel to & from departure airport
• Fees for checked luggage or preassigned seats
• Laptop computer (PC or Mac, but not iPad) & remote (clicker) for each speaker
• Passport
• Visa or tourist card, if required
• Vaccinations & medications
